While we all like "happily ever after" stories, not all end that way. In motivating his disciples to "Be Prepared" Jesus shares a story with a sad ending. What's even sadder is that the person that expected a "well done" got an "off the team" reprimand. Being prepared is about being awake. it's also about doing what's best.
